Opel AG’s top nine executives could share as much as €30 million ($32 million) in bonuses if the company’s sale to PSA Group is successful, Manager Magazin reports.
The German magazine says the payouts will be made regardless of whether the executives remain with Opel. Manager says it isn’t clear if Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann, who sold €3.8 million ($4.1 million) in Opel stock last month, will stay on.
PSA and Opel owner General Motors Co. expect to finalize the acquisition by the end of 2017. The deal must be approved by Germany’s antitrust office.
