Vincent Cobee, who left Mitsubishi Motors Corp. in April, will succeed Linda Jackson as CEO of PSA Group’s Citroen unit, Automobilwoche reports.

PSA confirmed previous reports that Cobee had joined Citroen’s management team. But the company declined to comment on the Automobilwoche report.
The German newspaper says Jackson will be reassigned elsewhere within PSA. Jackson took the helm of Citroen in 2014 but has failed during her tenure to increase the brand’s European market share above 4.5%.
Cobee, who headed product strategy at MMC, left that company as part of a mass exodus in the wake of former Chairman Carolos Ghosn’s arrest last November. Prior to MMC, Cobee headed global business for alliance partner Nissan Motor Co.’s Datsun entry-level brand.
