Renault SA plans to double its annual output of Dacia-branded Logan and Sandero cars in Casablanca, Morocco, by 2022.

The increase will hike production at Renault’s SOMACA factory to 160,000 units, Morocco state news agency MAP reports. Renault also has capacity to build as many as 340,000 vehicles per year in Tangier.

PSA Group plans to begin making cars at its first Moroccan factory when its new plant in Kenitra begins operations next year. That facility reportedly will start with annual capacity to make 90,000 units but aims to boost output to 200,000 vehicles by 2020.

Morocco’s goal is to expand its auto industry’s overall annual capacity and revenue to 1 million units and 200 million dirhams ($30 billion) by 2025.
