Renault SA has released the first official images of its all-new Alpine A110 coupe, the company’s first Alpine-badged sports car in more than 20 years.

The carmaker will publicly unveil the sporty two-seater next week at the Geneva auto show. The photos show a production model that maintains the retro-styling of last year’s Vision concept car, which pays homage to the original 1960s-era A110.

The new A110 features a creased hood, elongated headlights, prominent round fog lights and a wrap-around rear window. Power is expected to come from a turbocharged 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that can be tuned to make as much as 300 hp, according to media reports.

The rear-wheel-drive A110 will compete against the Porsche 718 Cayman. Renault says the car uses an all-aluminum platform and upper body to save weight. The car’s quilted leather seats weigh just 28 lbs each, making them 50% lighter than the seats in Renault's Megane RS hatchback, according to the company.
