Renault SA is recalling 61,500 Koleos SUVs in China to replace flawed fuel gauge sensors that may fail to deliver accurate fuel-level readings after prolonged use.
The campaign involves vehicles made between December 2008 and July 2012, according to China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
In late January, Renault said it would recall 5,100 Koleos vehicles in China to fix a welding defect that can cause the right front wheel to jam.
The company sold about 11,800 vehicles in the country last year. The Koleos is its top-selling model in China.
