PSA Peugeot Citroen's planned shift this autumn to regional operational management and global manufacturing will feature a new manufacturing chief and its first chief of European operations.

The new structure will become fully operational on Sept. 1. Its aim is to accelerate the company's evolution from a largely European carmaker to a truly global company. All are part of the "Back in the Race" plan announced in April by Carlos Tavares, who took over as CEO in March.

The new structure creates a team of six operational directors reporting to Tavares. Each will be responsible for growth and profitability within his territory.

The structure establishes PSA's first European regional director, a position to be filled by Denis Martin, currently head of personnel. The other regional directors include:

  • China-Southeast Asia: Gregoire Olivier
  • Eurasia: Christophe Bergerand
  • Indo-Pacific: Emmanuel Delay
  • Latin America: Carlos Gomes
  • Middle East-Africa: Jean-Christophe Quemard
PSA' executive committee, also reporting to Tavares, will include Yann Vincent. He has been hired from energy and mass transportation giant Alsom Holdings SA to become director of supply chain and manufacturing. The other directors are:
  • Purchasing: Yannick Bezard
  • Research and Development: Gilles Le Borgne
  • Finance and IT: Jean-Baptiste de Chatillon
  • Human Resources: Philippe Dorge
  • Programs and Strategy: Patrice Lucas
  • General Counsel: Pierre Todorov
Finally, PSA has confirmed three worldwide divisional directors, who will report to Tavares:
  • Design: Jean-Pierre Ploue
  • Quality: Philippe Pelletier
  • Communication: Jonathan Goodman
