PSA: Opel Management Will Remain After Sale

PSA Group CEO Carlos Tavares reiterates that Opel’s management team, led by Karl-Thomas Neumann, will continue after the General Motors Co. unit becomes a part of PSA.

Tavares praises Neumann for doing “excellent work” in managing the German company’s revival. The continued turnaround there “must be achieved and implemented by Opel staff and Opel management,” he adds.

Neumann became Opel’s CEO three years ago. He tells reporters he intends to stay and “make sure Opel has a great future.”
