PSA Ends Production at Aulnay Plant

PSA Peugeot Citroen's Aulnay-sous-Bois factory outside Paris built its last car on Friday.
The company announced plans to close the factory last year as part of its plan to offset last year's €576 million operating loss by shrinking its workforce in France 17% by the end of 2014.
PSA said last month that half the factory's 2,800-person permanent workforce had found jobs elsewhere. But workers demonstrated outside the plant on Friday, claiming the company failed to deliver on a promise to find jobs for all full-time employees there.
