PSA Deliveries Slide 10% in First Half

Group volume in the first half was dragged down by a 13% drop to 855,000 vehicles in Europe. PSA's market share in the region shrank 0.8 points year on year to 12.1%.
The company's sales outside Europe grew 7 percentage points to 41%. Demand for PSA vehicles soared by one-third to 278,000 units in China but dropped 22% to 32,000 units in Russia.
Group deliveries jumped 20% to 146,000 units in South America despite no improvement in Brazil. The increase came from gains of 30% or more in Argentina, Chile and Mexico.
