Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk says a prototype of the pickup truck the company is developing may be unveiled next year.

In a Twitter post, Musk says he’s “dying” to make such a vehicle. Earlier this year he boasted the truck will feature a dual-motor electric drive that generates “crazy” torque levels.

Tesla’s truck is expected to be about the same size as the full-size Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado pickups. Musk also has said the vehicle will have a self-leveling suspension system, a 240-volt power outlet and the ability to park itself.

Tesla’s EV lineup currently consists of the Model S sedan, Model X midsize crossover and Model 3 compact car. The company plans to add a smaller crossover called the Model Y in 2020. An ultra-high-performance sports car and Class 8 truck also are being developed.
