Porsche’s Small Crossover Debuts Next Week in L.A.

Porsche AG will present its fifth model, the 2014 Macan small crossover, at the Los Angeles auto show later this month.

The Volkswagen AG division expects first-year global sales of the Macan to reach 75,000 units. The new model will be produced at Porsche's factory in Leipzig, Germany. The crossover goes on sale late in the first quarter of 2014.

The new model will be built on the same architecture and share powertrains with the Audi Q5. Two diesels will be offered in Europe, along with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four and a range-topping turbocharged 3.0-liter, 370-hp V-6.
