Volkswagen AG's Porsche unit has appointed Joe Lawrence, managing director of its Canadian unit, to become COO of Porsche Cars North America on Sept. 1.
Lawrence succeeds Michael Bartsch, who will become managing director of Porsche's Australian unit on that date.
The company says it will name Lawrence's successor in Canada soon.
