Former For Motor Co. vice president Dan Brouillette has been nominated by President Donald Trump to take over as Secretary of the Dept. of Energy at the end of the year.
Former For Motor Co. vice president Dan Brouillette has been nominated by President Donald Trump to take over as Secretary of the Dept. of Energy at the end of the year.

He will succeed Rick Perry, who said yesterday that he will step down as energy secretary by the end of the year.
Brouillette was Ford vice president for domestic policy between 2004 and 2006 and served on the carmaker’s North American operating committee. Laster he was a member of the Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board in 2013-2016.
Brouillette has been serving as deputy secretary of the Energy Dept. since August 2017.
