PACCAR Exec Hired to Head Navistar’s N. American Truck Unit

Navistar International Inc. has recruited Bill Kozek, a 26-year veteran of rival truckmaker PACCAR Inc., to head its North American truck business.

Kozek most recently was vice president and general manager of PACCAR's Peterbilt Motors unit. He previously served stints running the company's Kenworth truck business and heading purchasing and business development for PACCAR's operation in China.

At Navistar, Kozek fills the vacancy created when truck chief Jack Allen was promoted to COO last month. Kozek will report to Allen.
