Opel Readies a More Efficient Corsa

General Motors Co.'s Opel unit confirms it will introduce a next-generation version of its Corsa supermini this autumn.

The company also released its own "spy" photos of the car with camouflaged exterior.

The redesigned Corsa offers a new 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine that makes 115 hp compared with 110 hp for the current naturally aspirated 1.4-liter engine and 120 hp for the turbocharged 1.4-liter variant.

The Corsa also will debut with wireless Internet connectivity, an all-new 6-speed manual transmission and revamped chassis and steering system.
