Opel Plans to Ship Cars to North Africa

PSA Group’s Opel unit intends to export cars made in Europe to markets in Morocco and Tunisia, says CEO Michael Lohscheller.

He tells the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung the scheme won’t compete with demand for PSA’s French models because it will appeal to buyers who prefer German brand vehicles.

Lohscheller apparently didn’t indicate when Opel would begin shipments or which models would be involved.​​​​
