Opel Names Cobo as Production Chief

PSA Group’s Opel/Vauxhall unit has appointed Antonio Cobo as vice president of manufacturing and supply chain, effective Jan. 1.

He joined Opel in 1981 and has held several international posts in quality and manufacturing. Most recently he has been head of the unit’s operations in Spain and manager of its factory there in Zaragoza.

Cobo succeeds Remi Giardon, who is returning to PSA in Paris to begin an unannounced new assignment.
