General Motors Co.'s Opel unit tells Bloomberg News the company will keep its parts distribution center in Bochum, Germany, open until 2016 when its contract with Neovia Logistics Services LLC expires.
Opel plans to shutter its assembly plant in Bochum by the end of next year. The company said last month that the nearby logistics facility, which has about 430 employees, would close at the same time.
