Motors Liquidation Co. the trust managing winding up the remnants of General Motors Co. that were left behind in bankruptcy has reached a $6 million environmental settlement with New York state, Dow Jones Newswires reports.

The complaint involves a factory in Onadaga, N.Y., run by GM's Inland Fisher Guide unit that molded and painted metal and plastic parts. The state says the facility discharged hazardous substances for decades.

The agreement is the 13th and final resolution of environmental claims by "Old GM," according to the news service.
