OESA Names New President, CEO
Julie Fream, a former executive at Visteon, TRW, Ford and General Motors, has been named president and CEO of the Original Equipment Suppliers Assn., effective Oct. 1.
Julie Fream, a former executive at Visteon, TRW, Ford and General Motors, has been named president and CEO of the Original Equipment Suppliers Assn., effective Oct. 1.
She will succeed Neal De Koker, 69, who founded OESA 15 years ago and has led the organization since then. The industry trade group has about 450 companies with combined annual sales of $300 billion.
Fream's 30-year automotive career has included posts in manufacturing, sales, marketing, product planning and corporate strategy. Her most recent post was vice president of strategy and global communications for Visteon Corp.'s North American Customer Group. She left Visteon in late 2011.
Fream holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is a trustee at MTU and at Dearborn, Mich.-based Oakwood Health Inc.
