October Sales Soar for GM in China

Volume for SAIC-GM Wuling rose 11% to 143,700 vehicles. Shanghai GM's sales climbed 13% to 133,000 units. FAW-GM sold 5,400 commercial trucks, up 27% from October 2012.
GM says demand for its Buick brand grew 15% to 69,700 cars. Chevrolet's sales advanced 8% to 59,000, almost half of them Cruze sedans. Cadillac sales expand to 4,200 units from 2,500 vehicles a year ago.
In the January-October period, sales in China by GM and its partners totaled a record 2.59 million units.
