Nissan Motor Corp. has agreed to be the sole auto sponsor of iTunes Radio, Apple Inc.'s new online music streaming service, through 2013.

Other sponsors with category exclusivity are McDonald's, Pepsi and Procter & Gamble. The multi-million-dollar deals enable each company to inject ads into the iTunes radio music stream every 15 minutes and a video ad every hour, according to Advertising Age.

The free radio service is a feature of Apple's new iOS 7 mobile operating system and can be accessed through a PC or Apple product. Like Pandora, it provides music based on the user's listening habits.
