Nissan Sales Drop 12% in Asia/Oceania

Nissan Motor Co. reports its sales in Asia outside Japan, China and India fell to 19,800 units last month from 22,400 units in May 2013.

The company's sales bright spots included gains of 8% in Australia, 46% in New Zealand, 96% in Singapore, 37% in South Korea and 47% in Vietnam last month.

Nissan's top sellers in the region in May were the Almera small sedan, Dualis (Qashqai) small crossover and X-Trail SUV.
