Nissan Motor Co. says the first U.S.-produced 2014 Nissan Rogue small crossover built this week in Smyrna, Tenn. is the factory's 10 millionth vehicle.
The shift of Rogue production to the U.S. is part of Nissan's strategy by 2015 to build 85% of its products sold in North America within the region.
The Smyrna facility, which opened more than 30 years ago, has produced such nameplates as Altima, Pathfinder, Xterra, Frontier and Sentra.
