Nissan Motor Co. is recalling 123,300 of its 2013 model Altima sedans because their spare tires were not properly inflated.
The company blames the snafu, which overinflated some spares and underinflated others, on a broken pressure regulator at the plant in Canton, Miss., that produces the Altima. The defect was discovered by a dealer, according Nissan.
