The 52,000-sq-ft office building houses 150 employees. The facility is headquarters for Nexteer's finance, human resources, legal sales, public affairs and supply chain management operations.
The company, which formerly was the Saginaw (Mich.) Steering Gear Div. of General Motors Co., also operates a technical center, where its headquarters was previously located, and manufacturing complex, both in Saginaw. Nexteer was acquired by China’s Pacific Century Motors Inc. in 2010.
The headquarters features advanced collaborative tools to enable real-time coordination on projects, including advanced driver assist systems, with Nexteer staffers around the world. The company operates 21 factories, 11 customer service centers and five regional engineering centers in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
