Navistar CFO to Depart

Andrew Cederoth will step down as chief financial officer of Navistar International Corp. at the end of this month.
The 23-year Navistar veteran has been CFO for nearly four years. His exit is part of a planned management transition, according to the Lisle, Ill.-based maker of trucks and diesel engines.
But Navistar says it has not yet finalized the hiring of a new CFO from outside the company. Treasurer James Moran will fill the job in the interim.
Cederoth and former CEO Dan Ustian were named in a federal civil lawsuit filed in April against Navistar by several pension funds. The plaintiffs allege the executives misled shareholders about whether the company's new diesel engine would meet 2010 federal emission standards.
When Navistar's new engine failed to pass muster, the company's sales and profits fell. Ustian was forced out last August because of the failed strategy.
