Mitsubishi Names New Head of N. American Unit

Ryujiro Kobashi will take over as president and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Corp.'s North American sales operation on March 1.

He will succeed Yoichi Yokozama, who is returning to Japan to join MMC's corporate planning unit.

Kobashi joined MMC in 1983 as an overseas planner. Currently he is corporate general manager of MMC's North American office in Japan.
