BMW AG's Mini unit predicts that its American deliveries, which rose 15% to a record 66,100 vehicles in 2012, will reach a new all-time high this year, Automotive News reports.

The brand tells its U.S. dealers at the National Automobile Dealers Assn. convention in Orlando, Fla., that the company will increase marketing spending 30% in 2013 this year from an unspecified total last year.

Mini expects most of the boost will come from its existing models, according to AN. The carmaker also will add a low-volume niche model, the Paceman crossover coupe, in the U.S. next month.
