Mexico’s auto industry produced a record 3.93 million vehicles last year, according to updated figures from the Mexican Automotive Industry Assn.

Last month the group said output reached nearly 3.8 million cars and trucks. The new figure includes a previously unreported 158,600 Q5 crossover vehicles built by Audi AG in Puebla.

MAIA says Mexico’s vehicle production rose another 4% in January to 304,000 units. Exports account for about 80% of the country’s output.
