Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz brand is changing its future design language to replaces its current highly complex exteriors with bodies that feature smoother and more rounded surfaces.

Mercedes describes the new look a sample of the new style earlier this week when it unveiled the Concept A Sedan (pictured) at the Shanghai auto show. Mercedes will begin updating its current lineup of A-Class models in 2018.

The unit began expanding its lineup of entry-level A-Class models to five models four years ago. Now it is considering adding three more models—a sedan, SUV and crossover-convertible, according to Automotive News.
