Mahle Consolidates U.S. Headquarters

Engine component and filtration supplier Mahle Industries Inc. has opened a new $20 million expansion of its North American headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich.

The 20-acre site now includes 113,000 sq ft of office and tech center space and a 17,000-sq-ft warehouse. The larger facility has enabled the company to consolidate nearly 400 employees and powertrain, testing, HR and information technology operations.

Mahle Industries is part of Stuttgart, Germany-based Mahle Group, a $7.9 billion provider of powertrain components, air and liquid management systems, mechatronics and engineering services.
