Lynn Vojvodich Joins Ford Board

Ford Motor Co. has elected tech industry veteran Lynn Vojvodich to the company’s board of directors, effective April 1. She will serve on the nominating and governance, sustainability and innovation, and audit committees.

Vojvodich also is an independent director of The Priceline Group Inc. She was executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Salesforce.com, a San Francisco-based software company, from 2013 until last month.

In 2006, Vojvodich founded a marketing strategy company called Take3. She also has held leadership positions at Microsoft and BEA Systems and was a partner in venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, where she was as an adviser to pre-initial public offering and start-up companies.

Vojvodich started her career as a mechanical engineer, working on design and construction of Gulfstream jets and offshore oil structures. She has a bachelor’s degree in product design from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
