Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln luxury unit has released a darkened teaser video of the Corsair compact crossover vehicle it will debut at next month’s New York auto show.

Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln luxury unit has released a darkened teaser video of its upcoming Corsair compact crossover vehicle ahead of its debut at next month’s New York auto show.

Due to go on sale later this year, the next-generation model will succeed the current MKC under Lincoln’s new naming strategy. The all-new crossover is expected to ride on the same platform that carries the Ford Escape.
 

In addition to carryover 4-cylinder engines from the MKC, the Corsair is expected to include a hybrid-electric variant. All-wheel drive will be optional.
