Lear Corp. says its sales in the third quarter climbed 11% to $3.9 billion, and operating earnings advanced 15% to $207 million compared with the same period in 2012.

Restructuring costs caused the Southfield, Mich.-based company's net income for July-September to fall 7% to $113 million.

But Lear's production of seating and wiring systems was up in every major market, including Europe. The company now predicts its full-year sales will be about $16 billion, up $200 million from its previous forecast. The company also raised its operating earnings outlook 8% to $325 million.
