Volkswagen AG’s Lamborghini unit has opened its largest showroom in the world, a 19,000-sq-ft facility in Dubai.

The three-story building also includes a service center, customizing studio, executive offices and salesroom stocked with Lambo merchandise. The palatial structure was designed by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott, who penned the Bastille Opera in Paris and the National Bank of Dubai headquarters.

Lamborghini says the showroom will serve as its central hub in the Middle East, which is a key market for the supercar-maker as it aims to double global sales to 7,000 units by 2019. Later this year the company will add the Urus crossover/SUV to its lineup, which currently consists of the Aventador and Huracan supercars.
