Kia Motors Corp. has released sketches of the compact crossover vehicle it will debut later this year.

The drawings indicate the production model will maintain most of the styling of the SP Signature concept introduced at this year’s Geneva auto show. Design cues—including an updated “tiger nose” grille and slender LED headlights and taillights—also are expected to find their way into other future Kia models, such as the next-generation Sorento and Sportage.
The unnamed crossover is expected to go on sale later this year in South Korea and India. Other markets, including the U.S., will follow next year. There are no immediate plans to offer the vehicle in Europe.
Kia says the crossover will include features designed specifically for the Millennial generation (people born between the 1980s and early 2000s). The company did not indicate what those features will be.
