Kia Motors Corp.'s Dongfeng Yueda Kia venture in China says its new China-only brand will be Horki, which means harmony and driving.

Kia unveiled the sub-brand last weekend at the Shanghai auto show. The company also showed the first Horki concept, a sedan based on Kia's new Cerato platform. The new brand will promote a practical, economic and reliable line of vehicles, according to Kia.

Horki will debut in China in the second half of 2015 with multiple unspecified models. Kia says no decision has been made about producing the concept car.
