JLR Changes Global Sales, Marketing Structure

Tata Motors Ltd.'s Jaguar Land Rover unit is shuffling its management structure to eliminate the title of global brand director and strengthen the roles of global sales and marketing chiefs.
Phil Popham, JLR group sales operations director, has been appointed group marketing director. He will be responsible for global marketing for the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
Andy Goss, president of JLR's North America unit, will replace Popham as head of global sales and customer service. Goss will join the company's executive committee. The company says it will name a new president for the U.S.-based unit later.
JLR named Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, to as group strategy director. John Edwards, currently global brand director for Land Rover, will get an unspecified new job, according to the company.
The changes take effect on Oct. 1.
