Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV will unveil the seven-seat Yuntu SUV concept this week at the Shanghai auto show.

The concept, which features a plug-in hybrid powertrain, is expected to lead to a production model in coming years. It would be Jeep’s first three-row SUV since the Commander was discontinued in 2010.

Teaser sketches show a concept that blends Jeep’s traditional styling, including the marque’s signature seven-slot grille and square wheel arches, with more aggressive cues. Highlights include an upright front end, blacked-out roof pillars, and chrome trim that runs from the side mirror to the D-pillar on both sides of the vehicle.
