Nissan Motor Co.'s Infiniti brand has filed for a U.S. trademark for "Eau Rouge," the name of one of Formula One's most famous racetrack turns, Bloomberg News reports.

The high-speed uphill esses at the Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium alternately compress and unload a car's suspension on its way to a blind exit. The curves take their name from a stream that crosses beneath the track.

Infiniti tells Bloomberg the company is still developing the Q50 super sedan and hasn't decided whether to build it or what to name it. The company has suggested the car would be powered by an engine making more than 500 hp and 600 lb-of torque.

Exterior design cues include an aggressive lower front fascia with a twin-pane lower splitter, carbon fiber roof, flared fenders, wider track, more aggressive deck-mounted spoiler and heavily sculpted carbon-fiber rear bumper.
