Infiniti Hires Lamborghini Exec to Head Europe Unit
Nissan Motor Co.'s Infiniti unit has recruited Lamborghini sales and marketing chief Fintan Knight to head the Japanese luxury brand's European operations, starting May 1.

Nissan Motor Co.'s Infiniti unit has recruited Lamborghini sales and marketing chief Fintan Knight to head the Japanese luxury brand's European operations, starting May 1. He will report to Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen.
De Nysschen is building a global management team for the brand, which aims to boost its worldwide volume to 500,000 vehicles by 2017 from about 160,000 units last year. Knight's task is to hike Infiniti's European sales to 100,000 vehicles from 12,300 units during the same period.
Before joining Volkswagen AG's Lamborghini unit in 2008, Knight worked at VW's Audi brand for 13 years. The Australian native began his automotive career at BMW AG in 1992.
