IAV N. America Taps Former AVL Exec as President

IAV Group has named Mike Kenhard president of its Automotive Engineering unit in Northville, Mich.

Kenhard succeeds Maisa Oliveria, who served as interim president since March 2018. Oliveria, who previously was vice president of finance, has been appointed vice president of administration.

Kenhard most recently was director of engineering for rival AVL Powertrain Engineering in nearby Plymouth, Mich. With extensive experience in powertrain and vehicle development, Kenhard also has worked for Denso, Cosworth and Ford. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from London’s Kingston University.
