Hyundai Motor Co.'s hourly workers stopped working overtime hours on Friday pending the outcome of wage talks with management that resumed on Sunday.
The workers' primary demand is that the company heed a South Korean court ruling that companies should include regular bonuses as a part of base wages. Doing so would increase benefits calculated on wages.
Hyundai has not revealed details of its latest offer. Workers decided late last week to complete their regular eight-hour shifts, but they are refusing to put in overtime hours.
