Design renderings for Hyundai Motor Co.'s redesigned i20 B-segment car reveal a stylish rival for the Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo.

The second-generation five-door hatch , which makes its public debut at the Paris auto show in September, will go on sale in 2015.

The revamped model reflects Hyundai's latest "fluidic sculpture 2.0" design language. The car was penned at Hyundai's design center in Russelsheim, Germany.

Exterior features include a long hood, wrap-around rear window, blacked out B- and C-pillars, strong side character lines that blend into the tail lamps and what Hyundai describes as a "powerful" stance.

The company has released no technical details about the new i20. But observers expect carryover powertrain choices that include three gasoline engines and one diesel covering a power range of 66 hp-99 hp.
