Honda Motor Co. says its new Small RS concept car reflects the company’s vision of a future small sports car.
The vehicle, which was unveiled at last week’s Indonesia auto show, was developed by Honda's Asia Pacific operations. Media reports speculate that the car could preview a next-generation RS variant of the Brio hatchback sold in southeast Asia.
The bright-orange concept car sports extended side skirts, muscular body creases and hood scoop, a large roof spoiler, black wheels, thin wing mirrors and LED daytime running lights. Other design features include Honda’s wide upright grille and large lower intake vents.
No powertrain information or other vehicle specs were provided. The current Brio is powered by a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 100 hp and 80 lb-ft of torque.
