Honda Recalls More Takata Airbag Inflators in Thailand

Honda Motor Co. is recalling 165,100 cars in Thailand to replace passenger-side Takata Corp. frontal airbag inflators that could misfire and injury occupants in a crash.
The new campaign brings to 865,000 the number of vehicles Honda has recalled in the country this year to replace Takata inflators. The devices have been linked to at least 16 fatalities, 15 of them occurring in Honda vehicles. More than 100 million Takata inflators are currently being recalled by 17 carmakers worldwide.
The new callbacks covers Honda's 2009-2011 model City and Jazz small cars, Freed minivans, Civic compact sedans, CR-V small crossover vehicles and Accord midsize sedans.
