Henniges Automotive Holdings Inc., a maker of body sealing systems and anti-vibration products, has acquired the remaining 40% of its Chinese joint venture with China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology. Terms were not disclosed.

The Auburn Hills, Mich.-based company says the purchase is part of its strategy to expand its capability to serve emerging automotive markets worldwide.

The venture formerly was known at Beijing Wanyuan-Henniges Sealing Systems Co. The 9-year-old company operates five facilities in China to supply Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen, FAW-Volkswagen, General Motors and Shanghai Volkswagen.
