Harley-Davidson Quarterly Earnings Rise 7%

Harley-Davidson Inc. reports fourth-quarter earnings of $75 million compare with $71 million a year earlier. Revenue for the period grew 2% to $1.2 billion.The Milwaukee-based motorcycle maker sold 45,900 bikes worldwide in the October-December period, up 6%. Volume in the U.S. jumped 6% to 27,400.

Full-year net income climbed 18% to $734 million as revenue rose 6% to $5.9 billion.
