The Milwaukee-based motorcycle maker sold 70,500 bikes worldwide in the July-September period, up 15%. Volume in the U.S. jumped 20%.
Through the first nine months of 2013, Harley-Davidson's net income climbed 19% to $659 million as sales rose 7% to $4.71 billion.
